Kris was an active duty soldier for the U.S. Army for four years and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After medically retiring from the Army in 2011, he decided to help our nation’s wounded warriors through adaptive physical training. Kris completed a bachelor’s degree in Strength and Conditioning from UCCS with a minor in Nutrition. While pursuing his degree, Kris spent his time volunteering as a trainer to assist wounded, ill, and injured soldiers. Kris also worked for Champion Health Associates as their Director of Strength Rehabilitation and Performance Training. Kris has worked with everyone from older adults to elite athletes for the past 10+ years. With an extensive background in helping people regain balance and motor control skills after brain injuries, he has helped people regain hope and ownership of their bodies. Kris enjoys strength sports and competes in Powerlifting.
